The event will take place at High Fields Farm, Uttoxeter Road, Draycott-in-the-Moors, ST11 9AE, with a Live Band Night in the marquee on Saturday 12 July, followed by the main Fayre activities on Sunday 13 July.

Saturday evening will begin with music from DJ Richard Ward, before Murphy’s Marbles take to the stage with a lively set of traditional Irish music, covers and original songs. The band’s influences include Lindisfarne, The Pogues, Bob Dylan, The Waterboys, The Saw Doctors and Van Morrison.

A bar will be open throughout the evening, with hot food also available.

On Sunday, visitors can look forward to a packed day of attractions and entertainment for all ages. The programme includes a climbing wall for adults and children, a portable bell ringing tower, alpacas, circus skills, beat the goalie, archery, classic vehicles, children’s sports, a funfair, a fire engine visit and a Nepalese cultural display.

There will also be an extensive dog show, with expanded classes running throughout the day, as well as live music in the marquee.

Refreshments will be available across the site, including the popular teashop, a barbecue run by Draycott Moor College staff and a bar run this year by The Huntsman at Cheadle.

Visitors will also be able to browse a wide range of stalls in the marquee and out on the field, including a White Elephant stall, bottle stall and many others offering a variety of goods.

Tickets will be available online, with Saturday night entertainment costing £6. Entry on Sunday will also be £6, while a combined ticket for both days will cost £10. Under 18s go free, and car parking will also be free on both days in the first field off Uttoxeter Road.

The whole weekend is dedicated to bringing the community together while raising vital funds for St Margaret’s Church, the village’s 13th century Grade II listed church.

With the support of The Friends of St Margaret’s, who are dedicated to helping maintain the historic building, organisers hope the Fayre will help ensure the church can continue to serve the community for generations to come.

A raffle will also be held in connection with the Fayre, with prizes including two microlight flights and many other items.
