Dear readers,

Another week done, and this one's got a bit of everything in it, from a fully funded mural to a tax cut that will actually show up on your bills. This week, two Stoke DJs' homemade blue plaque trail becomes the real thing, Gareth Snell writes for us for the first time, and there's some welcome news on the cost of keeping the lights on.

On a personal note, there's something brewing behind the scenes here at the Signal. We're looking to expand, and plans are properly underway, so watch this space, there's more to come soon. When the time is right, we'll be asking for your help, so keep an eye out.

In the meantime, two small favours if you've got a moment. A Google review genuinely helps us, it's how more people across Staffordshire find us when they search, and it takes about thirty seconds: leave a review here. And if you've enjoyed this edition, forward it to someone who might too. If this was forwarded to you, do subscribe, it's free, and it means you never miss an update.

Until next Wednesday.
