Independent Northern Law firm Harrison Drury continues to strengthen its presence in Stoke-on-Trent with the announcement of two senior appointments.

Katie Pinnell joins as partner in the firm’s residential property team and Rebecca Parry joins as a senior associate solicitor in the commercial property team.

Katie and Rebecca will further broaden Harrison Drury’s range of legal support available to businesses, landowners, and home buyers and sellers in the area.

Harrison Drury opened its Stoke office at Smithfield Works, Hanley, in November 2025. Headed up by corporate partner Hayley Goodwin, the team has expanded quickly and already moved into a larger office within Smithfield Works to accommodate its growing team.

Katie joins from O’Neill Patient where she worked as head of conveyancing. She has over 20 years of conveyancing experience with strong expertise in leasehold, newbuild and freehold management matters.

In her new role at Harrison Drury, Katie will lead the firm’s residential property offering in the region and will advise clients on residential property transactions.

Rebecca joins Harrison Drury from Talbots Law where she worked as regional head of commercial property. She has over a decade of experience in the commercial property sector and will focus on transactional work including development matters, sales and purchases, landlord and tenant issues, and refinance and secured lending.

Hayley Goodwin, partner and head of Harrison Drury’s Stoke office, said:

“Since opening our Stoke office, we’ve had a really positive period of growth and welcomed some exciting new additions to the team across a range of legal services. Our fast-expanding team has meant we’ve had to move to a new office in Smithfield Works within six months.
“Rebecca and Katie will add further depth to both our commercial and residential property offering, enabling clients to access high-quality specialist advice. Their arrival is another display of our ambition to grow the Stoke office and our commitment to the local business and professional community.”

Katie added: “Harrison Drury’s reputation for client service and its willingness to embrace technology really stood out to me. I’m excited to be based in Stoke and to help grow a residential property team that delivers responsive, high-quality support for clients across the region.”

Rebecca said:

“Joining Harrison Drury at this stage of its growth journey is a great opportunity to really shape its presence in Stoke. I’m looking forward to growing our commercial property offering in Stoke and building strong relationships with our clients.”

Harrison Drury’s Stoke office gives clients access to the firm’s full range of services, which includes corporate and commercial services, employment law, wills, trusts and probate, and family law. Its existing offices are spread across the North West in regions including Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria.
