DJH Announced as Platinum Sponsor for Knot A Sports Day 2026

DJH has been announced as Platinum sponsor of Knot A Sports Day 2026, Staffordshire’s largest team building day, supporting 10 local charities.

Award-winning accountancy and business advisory firm DJH have been announced as the Platinum sponsor of Staffordshire’s largest team building day; Knot A Sports Day which returns to University of Staffordshire on Friday 12th June.

Knot A Sports Day is a spin on the classic sports day with activities for people of all levels. To come out on top, teams need to work together to rise to the challenges and claim the coveted winner’s trophy and bragging rights.

The one-day event supports 10 worthwhile charities including The Alice Charity, The Hubb Foundation, Stoke City Foundation, Port Vale FC Foundation, North Staffs Linkline, Brake, AED Donate, Gingerbread Family Support, Symmetrical Staffs and University of Staffordshire Horizon Fund.

As well as sponsoring Knot A Sports Day, DJH will once again enter a team of colleagues, reflecting the firm’s commitment to supporting local causes and championing teamwork across the business.

Matt Hustwit, Head of Business Development at DJH says,

“Community is one of DJH’s core values, so seeing the best of Staffordshire come together, all while raising money for brilliant local causes, is something we genuinely look forward to. It’s a day that reminds us of what teamwork looks like beyond the office, and we love being part of it.”

This year’s event will feature classic favourites such as a pedal kart derby, wheelbarrow races, the egg & spoon race plus to celebrate the World Cup, a series of football-themed challenges are being added to the roster, including a penalty shootout competition.

“We’re delighted to have DJH back as a headline sponsor of this year’s Knot A Sports Day. This year promises to be the biggest and best one to date, with plenty of activities and a few surprises for participants.

“We’re hoping to have over 400 participants from local businesses competing on the day and raising money for 10 worthwhile charities.”
