More than 40 ceramic artists from across the UK will gather in Stoke on Trent this October for the first ever Stoke Ceramics Fair.
Taking place inside the surroundings of Stoke Minster on Saturday 17 October 2026, the new event will celebrate Stoke on Trent’s internationally recognised ceramic heritage while putting contemporary makers working with clay firmly in the spotlight.
Visitors will be able to browse a carefully curated collection of handmade ceramics, ranging from functional tableware and homeware to sculpture, decorative pieces and one of a kind artworks.
The fair will also give visitors the opportunity to meet the artists behind the work and discover more about the makers continuing Stoke on Trent’s ceramic story today.

A new ceramics event created by local makers
Stoke Ceramics Fair has been organised by three local ceramicists and will operate as a not for profit event created by makers, for makers.
While Stoke on Trent is known around the world for its ceramic heritage, the fair will focus on the artists and makers continuing that tradition through contemporary work.
Whether you are an avid collector, searching for a distinctive handmade gift or simply looking for an inspiring day out, the event offers an opportunity to discover craftsmanship while supporting independent ceramic artists.
