On Saturday, we were proud to be part of Castle Classics, organised by Newcastle-under-Lyme BID and what a brilliant turnout it was for the show’s 3rd year!

With over 80 stunning vehicles on display, from classic cars and retro vans to vintage bikes, the town centre was full of colour, chrome and conversation. Everyone who came along was so friendly and chatty, creating that warm community feel we’ve come to love.

The weather was chilly but dry, with the sun making a welcome appearance in the afternoon, the perfect autumn backdrop for admiring some truly beautiful machines.

A big congratulations to our 5 prize winners, whose cars were polished to perfection! Each winner received a well earned trophy and prize, and their smiles said it all.

We also want to thank 6 Towns Radio for joining us and keeping the energy up all day with great music.

Our charity raffle raised over £70, with all prizes kindly donated by Duchess China 1888, a huge thank you to everyone who took part!

We were delighted to showcase the “Rave On” Ford Zephyr, owned by Duchess China 1888, a unique art installation created for the British Ceramics Biennial 2023, with transport provided by Envy Autos Ltd.

With a fantastic 58% increase in footfall to local shops compared to an average Saturday, it was a great day all round for the town and community.

Thank you to everyone who took part, attended, and helped make the day such a success, we’re already looking forward to next year!

Distributing our magazine went well too. A huge thank you to everyone for your amazing comments, there's so much positivity in our county, it's so lovely to be a part of that now.

The 5 category winners are:

Best Classic - Volvo Amazon owned by Doug Flyn

Best Retro - VW Caddy owned by Paul Dulson

Show and Shine - Morris Minor owned by Lesley Dale

Most Unique - Chenworth owned by Dave Haslam

Best in Show - Mini Cooper Sport owned by Graham Harper

Huge congratulations to all winners, we hope to see you at the next one in March!
