The group recently collaborated with Davina McCall’s Begin Again podcast on a sold-out London Coffee Rave attended by hundreds of people and held in support of cancer charity Maggie’s. Now the phenomenon is coming to Staffordshire for a special pre-festival event ahead of Recoverfest, the free family festival celebrating recovery, wellbeing and community. Taking place from 10.30am to 11.30am on Sunday, 6 September, the Recoverfest Coffee Rave will feature a live set from DJ PBH alongside Romi Foxx on drums. Festivalgoers can expect huge tunes, live percussion, coffee, dancing and all the atmosphere of a traditional rave – without the alcohol or the hangover. Recoverfest is a free, family-friendly and alcohol-free festival bringing together thousands of people for a day of live music, inspirational stories, wellbeing activities, children’s entertainment and community connection. Singer-songwriter and recovery advocate Lucy Spraggan will headline the main stage, joined by Amy Jo & The Spangles, Sons of Jericho, Detox Factor Live, The Song Loft, Shook, the V62 Choir and Michelle Moss School of Dance. The wider festival will also feature resilience speaker and bestselling author Josh Connolly, yoga and meditation, breathwork, drumming, creative activities, inflatables, face painting, food, community organisations and support services.
