At 3pm, thousands of brightly coloured ducks were released onto the River Sow. A large crowd gathered along both sides of the riverbank to watch and cheer as the ducks slowly made their way downstream. The gentle flow of the river meant the race progressed at a leisurely pace, giving spectators plenty of time to follow the ducks and see which would eventually reach the finish line.
