# Castle Classics returns to Newcastle-under-Lyme this October

- Description: Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre will welcome the return of Castle Classics on Saturday 24th October, bringing an impressive collection of classic and retro vehicles to the High Street and Ironmarket.

Now in its fifth edition, the popular event is delivered by Newcastle-under-Lyme BID in partnership with The Red Haired Stokie and 6 Towns Radio.

Up to 100 vehicles are expected to take part, representing more than a century of automotive history, from early 1900s models to modern classics from the 1990s and early 2000s.

Castle Classics is a free, family friendly event created to attract visitors to Newcastle-under-Lyme and encourage them to explore the town centre’s shops, hospitality venues and independent businesses alongside the vehicle displays.

### Vehicles will be judged across five categories: 

*Best in Show, Show & Shine, Most Unique, Best Classic and Best Retro*

Previous Castle Classics Shows

Awards will be presented by the team at 6 Towns Radio on the Ironmarket at 2:30pm. All registered exhibitors will automatically be entered into the competition.

Charl Pearce, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID Manager, said:

Jenna Goodwin, The Red Haired Stokie, said:

There are some incredibly unique and beautifully maintained cars on display, making it a great day out for car fans and anyone who appreciates a classic.”*
