Staffordshire based AMRICC has launched the Advanced Ceramics Ecosystem Map, bringing together organisations working across advanced materials, ceramics, manufacturing, research and supporting industries.

The United Kingdom has a wealth of knowledge and capability within advanced ceramics and the wider manufacturing supply chain. However, finding the right organisation, specialist expertise or potential partner is not always straightforward.

The new online map has been designed to address that challenge by creating a visible and accessible picture of the organisations contributing to the sector.

## Making ceramics expertise easier to find

Visitors to the Advanced Ceramics Ecosystem Map can explore organisations operating across the ceramics and advanced materials landscape.

The resource is intended to help businesses, researchers and other organisations identify potential collaborators, suppliers and partners, while also highlighting the scale and diversity of expertise available across the UK.

For Staffordshire, a county with a long and continuing connection to ceramics and materials innovation, the project offers another way to place the region’s expertise within the wider national picture.

AMRICC, which stands for the Applied Materials Research, Innovation and Commercialisation Company, is rooted in Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire’s ceramics and advanced materials sector. Its registered office is in Penkhull, Stoke on Trent.

## Organisations invited to join the map

AMRICC is inviting organisations that contribute to the advanced ceramics ecosystem to apply to be included.

This is not limited to businesses that manufacture ceramic products directly. Organisations involved in enabling technologies, materials, research, manufacturing processes and supporting services may also be relevant to the map.

Being included gives organisations an opportunity to increase their visibility and make it easier for others within the industry to discover their capabilities.

Applications can be submitted through the Join the Map page, where organisations are asked to complete a registration form.
